Red Seal Ginkgo Brain Alert Review: Hit or Miss?
Our First Impressions
Some people assume that cognitive enhancing supplements are only designed for those with serious attention span issues, such as people who have been diagnosed with ADD/ADHD. We’ll have you know that this is surely not the case! In reality, some of us, like you and myself, are just looking for that mental edge to help us succeed with our goals and reach our fullest potential. And there’s certainly nothing wrong with that. Many products, such as Ginkgo Brain Alert manufactured by Red Seal, are brain support supplements that can help enhance focus and overall mental clarity. We love Red Seal for their simple bottle design and straight-to-the-point claims.
When we visited their website, we were happy to see that they have not bombarded customers with ridiculous, over-achieving claims. Instead, they simply present each product with three menu tabs – About, Directions, and Ingredients. If you’re interested in this NZ-based supplement then keep reading for more information!
Marketing Practices of Ginkgo Brain Alert
There are definitely no issues when it comes to marketing practices with Ginkgo Brain Alert and Red Seal in general. Their products are mostly sold in New Zealand but are definitely available for purchase to people in the U.S. We have seen the product advertised and featured in a few review sites, but other than that there isn’t anything too extravagant. Definitely no “scam-like” landing pages or “fake” doctor claims.
Brain Alert’s formula is simple and only consists of a few herbal extracts. More specifically, each capsule includes:
- Ginkgo leaf (G. Biloba) 40 mg
- Guarana Seed 67.5 mg
- Ginseng root extract 160 mg
Let’s go over each of these ingredients in more detail to better understand how the product works and what it can do for you. We will begin with the first and most popular ingredient of them all – ginkgo biloba. This superstar boomed in popularity in 2010 and became one of the best-selling herbal medications in the U.S. and Europe. Ginkgo biloba is assumed to work by improving blood flow to all areas of the body including the brain, thereby increasing our abilities to focus and concentrate for longer periods of time. This ancient herb has also been believed to help prevent Alzheimer’s disease by slowing down brain cell deterioration.
Notice that we used the word “assumed” earlier.
Yeah, that was on purpose – scientists haven’t actually understood the exact mechanism by which ginkgo works, which is why a lot of people have lost interest in this compound. However, many ginkgo users (particularly students!) continue to remain faithful to their choice of nootropics because it helps them get rid of brain fog and increases focus throughout learning.
On the other hand, Guarana is more specifically gearing towards energy boosting. Guarana contains twice the amount of caffeine than regular coffee beans do, making it very effective in terms of increasing mental energy and overall alertness. The last ingredient in this product is ginseng, which can be used to reduce fatigue and even decrease stress. This should be particularly helpful towards those who struggle with long, stressful work and/or study hours.
Pro’s and Con’s
– All-natural ingredients
– May boost concentration and reduce mental fatigue
– Not the most impressive formula
– May only work for some
Cost and Summary of Ginkgo Brain Alert
You’ll be happy to know that a 30-capsule count bottle of Ginkgo Brain Alert costs only $6.79. The suggested dose is 1-2 capsules per day, so depending on your tolerance and overall lifestyle, the bottle could last between half a month to a month. As mentioned previously, the product’s formula is quite simple and only consists of 3 natural ingredients. While this is beneficial in terms of overall safety, we’re not sure that it will be a strong competitor against other advanced supplements that contain powerful nootropics such as Noopept and Vinpocetine.
If your bank account hasn’t been looking too great lately then you may opt for a cheaper product like Ginkgo Brain Alert. But if you’re looking for the ultimate cognitive enhancing supplement that can really boost focus, improve memory and increase mental energy then we recommend searching for products containing Noopept or Piracetam, such as our personal favorite Nitrovit.
