Our memory inevitably fades with age, and while some accept the bitter truth without much concern, many of us would like to have the option of retaining a sharp memory and focus for as long as possible.
Through improved technology and new discoveries, scientists have been developing supplements that can help us achieve our maximum mental potential, maintain brain health and prevent future neural diseases.
Out of the many available supplements available in the market, CILTEP has gained a lot of popularity. Many of our readers have asked us to review this product and go over the ingredients, so here we are to provide you with all the facts.
The CILTEP Review.
CILTEP stands for Chemically Induced Long Term Potentiation. Long Term Potentiation (LTP) is a mechanism by which our brains encode memory. LTP’s functioning directly relates to neurons and their communication, which allows cognitive functions such as learning and memory.
With that said, CILTEP is a cognitive enhancing product that aims to improve LTP capabilities by strengthening synaptic strength.
Since CILTEP seemed to be very specific in terms of mechanism, we had very high expectations for the product. A quick overview of their website tells us that the product can help increase memory, focus and motivation.
While we recognize that this is a lot of promises from a single pill, we remained positive. Poker Champion 2014, Martin Jacobson, has been featured on their website as a loyal CILTEP user and fan.
We were also very impressed by CILTEP’s decision to disclose their supplement facts sheet on their website. This gives us access to all the ingredients in their formula as well as the dose. At first glance, no red flags appeared but let’s take a closer look at their formula.
• Artichoke 900mg Inhibits PDE4, which increases alertness and awakeness.
• Forskolin 4mg – Increases cAMP release, which allows better memory formation and recall. Although this substance has been proven to be very effective, a minimum of 20mg is typically needed to cause effects.
• Phenylalanine 500mg – Works with dopamine – the “feel-good” neurotransmitter. As a result, mood is improved and motivation is increased.
• ALCAR 750mg – Reduces chronic fatigue and boosts mental energy.
• Vitamin B6 5mg – Allows effective neurotransmitter communication.
One bottle contains 60 capsules and comes at a price of $42.76. The product is available for purchase on Natural Stack’s official website or on Amazon.com. If the recommended dose of 2 capsules a day is followed, then one bottle will last a month. This price is considered quite cheap in the world of nootropics.

“If you’re looking for a pill that will give you unending focus, prolonged motivation, and heightened intelligence…look elsewhere. If you’re looking for a product that will subtly but noticeably provide a clear mind and a neutral attitude towards work or other intellectual endeavors, Ciltep may be the way to go. Ciltep isn’t the be all end all of nootropics, but it does provide a real benefit for those who have long hours in the office, deadlines, finals, etc. I like to analogize it to an IV drip. It doesnt give you any jittery feelings or waves of euphoria that make you feel like you can conquer anything. It gives you a sustained source of energy where you can keep doing what you’re doing with very little brain fog or “antsiness.” While on Ciltep you feel normal, as if you’re just there doing your work. Happy studying.”

“First day was fantastic, that night slept very poorly every time since it’s not nearly as pronounced, can get foggy, and sleep is unaffected (taken with 2-3 cups of black coffee every time, my normal) I find 1 TBS of now’s mct oil + coffee to produce 90% – 100% of the benefits if used daily, without the cost. Actually since using the product a bit longer I have come to realize it really is effective once or twice every 2 weeks. It will not be effective everyday or even every other day. But once in a while its a great antidepressant/motivator.”
“No real effects noticed. A cup of coffee would do the same thing or more.”
Pro’s and Con’s
– Works for many customers as a motivation booster
– May increase focus and memory
– Cost is reasonable
– Doesn’t work for everyone
– Formula isn’t ideal; larger dose of forskolin would bring out more effective results.
